In 2011 Stromae won a European Border Breakers Award, a prize that is awarded to young European artists who successfully debuted outside the borders of their own country into Europe.

The third single Tous les mêmes resulted in selling more than one million copies of the album in France. In March 2014, the Stromae song Ta fête was named as the official song of the Red Devils for the World Cup in Brazil.
